EVENTS
NEARLY ALL SPACE ODYSSEY VISITS ARE FOR SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND VOLUNTEER GROUPS ETC. BUT SOMETIMES EVENTS ARE PUT ON WHICH ARE ACCESSIBLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THIS PAGE LISTS ANY SUCH EVENTS, WITH LINKS TO HOW AND WHERE TO BOOK TICKETS FOR PUBLICLY-ACCESSIBLE PLANETARIUM SESSIONS
Space Odyssey is delighted to be returning the magnificent RN Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset on Saturday 21st January 2023. The giant Galileo dome will again be set up beneath the port wing of Concorde 002, the British Aerospace test Concorde, near to a host of other amazing, historic aircraft such as Sea King helicopter, a Sea Harrier that saw action in the Falklands Conflict and advanced research jets of the past. Public planetarium experiences will explore the past, present and future of space exploration, with a particular focus on the latest news and discoveries in space, the new international effort to return to the Moon in the coming years and, of course, what to look out for in the current night skies.
