Bookings from schools etc. outside Simon’s normal area are welcomed. A modest travel & accommodation supplement will be added for bookings from outside Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol/Bath/former Avon. Be assured that any supplement will be kept to a minimum and will still offer great value for money!
School visits are charged according to the number of students attending each session:
For 1 class per session (meaning up to 35 pupils) = £425 for one or two presentations in either the Pioneer or Voyager dome
For 2 classes per session (meaning 36-70 pupils) = £425 for one presentation in either the Voyager or Galileo dome. The Voyager dome will easily accommodate two primary-age classes at a time but is too small for two full secondary classes together, for which the larger Galileo dome should be used.
For 3 classes per session (meaning 71-90 pupils) = £525 for one presentation in the Galileo dome. Please note that three primary-age classes will fit in the Galileo dome, but not three secondary classes. Do remember to measure up the hall you have in mind to be certain which dome will fit (see Domes pages for more details).
Additional presentations are charged as follows:
£100 per additional session for up to 35 pupils
£140 per additional session for 36-70 pupils
£170 per additional session for 71-90 primary-age pupils
For a given number of pupils, it works out cheaper per head to have more than one class attend each session, if possible. This will depend on whether you have a large enough hall available for either of the larger domes.
Of course, if some sessions will be attended by one class whilst others have two or three, the fee will be adjusted accordingly. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to confirm the fee if you’re at all unsure!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Plans can sometimes have to be changed, so we try to make the cancellation process as fair as possible. Bookings cancelled or postponed with less than one month’s notice will incur a cancellation fee of £250. This will be reduced to £75 if we can secure an alternative booking for that date. Any bookings cancelled or postponed with more than one month’s notice will incur no charge.
